...for no reason whatsoever.
I’m looking for some new places to take pictures. How do you find the right scene to photograph your car in?

I drive around a lot. And by a lot, I mean I put between 400 and 700ish miles on my car a week. About 70% of that is commuting to/from work. The other 30% is pure pleasure driving. I get lost and find my way back home. Often, I find hidden places that are spectacular to go back and take photos around.
I also hang out with people that do the same thing. Stevo777 and I sometimes drive around for a few hours at a time, stopping places to take photos. I have my hidden spots, he has his hidden spots...
There’s still a few places that I’ve heard of, but can’t quite find on google maps yet...that’s a killer.
But as for how I find the right scene? I don’t. I just take a ton of pictures and post the ones that came out really well. I don’t limit myself to just one area or one scene. It’s not all out in the woods or fields, there’s plenty of industrial places to go as well. On weekends, most industrial parks are closed, many are wide open and easy to get into. Parking garages are great, abandoned (or seemingly so) supermarkets work well. Access roads can be fun, just be prepared to have some form of authority ask you what you’re doing, and be upfront and clear that you’re just looking to be in and out. If they ask you to leave, pack up. You can always try to go back at a different time.
